Assembling underway...

Assembly started for client in Long Acres and all our clients get the highest quality every time!

Fascinating insight

The majority of woodworking shops assemble their products before shipping it to the customer. The assembly process represents an important part in almost every shop or factory. The speed and accuracy of the assembly process is dictated in large part by the cabinet construction method used.

Assembly method used by Fanie's Kitchens.

We use the groove, biscuit, nail and screw method to assemble our cupboards.

The cabinet parts gets cut on a sliding table saw and edge-banded with a industrial hot glue edge-bander. Air nails, wood glue and biscuits are used to fix the parts together and indexed on a stationary assembly table. Hard board backings slides in the grooves at the back of the units to assure a 100% square unit. In your kitchen there are no melamine panels on the floor, all units are lifted and will be standing on 20mm plywood blocks which is highly water resistant, NO SHORT CUTS!!!

This method needs a lot of floor space and is very difficult or impossible to automate.

Word-of-mouth has been our best means of new work and new projects.
